2023 was a good year for a lot of automotive manufacturers. Ford Philippines, for one, posted its best-ever one-year sales performance in a while. It wasn’t just a mere bounceback from the pandemic—it was significant growth even from years prior.

In 2023, Ford sold a total of 31,320 units in the Philippines, good for a 27% year-on-year increase. This is the first time Ford Philippines breached the 30,000 unit sales mark in six years.

The best-selling model was the Ranger, which saw a 16% sales increase from 2022. Remember the report on Ford already moving 15,000 units a few months back? In 2023 alone, 13,234 Ranger units were sold. Ford also shared that its truck was also the best-selling 4×4 pickup with a 40% market share, accounted for mainly by the all-new Ranger Raptor.

Coming in second after the Ranger was the Territory, with 9,119 units sold last year. The Everest finishes in third with 8,569.

“We are immensely proud of this huge accomplishment that solidified our position in the industry amid a very dynamic, challenging and competitive environment,” said Ford Philippines managing director Mike Breen. “We thank our customers, dealers, employees, communities and partners for their continued trust, support, and collaboration. We remain committed to bringing our segment-leading vehicles, innovative services, and impactful customer experiences to the Filipino motoring public.”

To kick off 2024 an equally high note, Ford Philippines is also offering discounts and low monthly amortization deals. The Ranger Wildtrak can be had for just P18,000 a month and the Territory Titanium for P13,000 a month, while the Everest Titanium+ 4×2 and Everest Sport come with P20,000 cash discounts. An P80,000 discount on the Ranger and a P30,000 discount on the Territory Titanium X are also up for grabs. Looking to start the new year with a new car?
