Toowoomba woman charged with issuing hundreds of fake Covid-19 medical exemptions

A Toowoomba woman who allegedly pretended to be a doctor has been arrested and charged with issuing hundreds ‘medical exemptions’ that state a person does not need to be tested for Covid, receive a vaccine, or wear a mask.

Queensland Police said investigators from Task Force Sierra Linnet, in conjunction with Gold Coast Detectives, on Wednesday arrested and charged a 45-year-old Darling Heights woman under Health Practitioner Regulation National Law with five counts of taking a title indicating a person is a health practitioner.
