Strictly's Bobby Brazier and Ellie Leach break silence on dating reports

Bobby Brazier has addressed his relationship with Ellie Leach after it was reported that they had been enjoying “secret dates” after growing close while taking part on the Strictly Come Dancing Tour.

Fanning the flames were backstage pictures shared online of the EastEnders actor, 20, and former Coronation Street actress, 22, holding hands and generally looking cosy together.

The tour came to an end last weekend and both Brazier and Leach were in attendance at the 2024 TV Choice Awards in London on Monday.

While they arrived separately and didn’t pose for pictures together on the red carpet, questions were naturally asked it came time to face the media.

“Ellie is a sweetheart, look at her…she’s beautiful, she’s amazing, she’s good at what she does,” Brazier told The Sun when asked about Leach.

“She’s a good dancer. She is a lovely lovely friend of mine,” Brazier, who is the son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier and late Big Brother star Jade Goodie, added without denying that they were an item.

Leach, who won the 2023 series of Strictly with professional dance partner Vito Coppola, also played coy on the subject.

She instead waxed lyrical about getting to spend time with all of the celebrities and professional dancers on the tour rather than singling Brazier out.

“During the show, you’re with your partner all the time really and you don’t really get to see any of the other pros or the celebrities.

“So on tour we have really bonded and it does feel like a big family. It’s been so much fun,” she added to the publication.
