‘today i pressed one button and…’: pm modi’s ‘stalling’, ‘looted’ jibe at india bloc in maharashtra

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday attacked the opposition Congress and the INDI Alliance for “stalling” various projects when they were in power and “looted” the common man. Speaking at a public gathering in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal district, PM Modi said when the INDIA bloc was in Centre, packages were used to be announced but farmers, tribals did not get anything as the amount was looted in the middle.

“Today, I pressed one button, and Rs. 21,000 crores of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi reached the accounts of crores of farmers. This is Modi’s guarantee…” the Prime Minister said.

Recalling his previous visits, he said it was 10 years ago when he came to Yavatmal and people here gave him blessings leading NDA to clinch over 300 (seats). “Then in 2019, I visited Yavatmal, then too, you showered a lot of love on us. The country then took the NDA over 350 (seats). And now when I am here ahead of the 2024 (Lok Sabha) elections, the entire country is echoing with one voice – ‘Abki Baar 400 Paar’,” he said.

“I can see here in front of me that mothers and sisters in large numbers have come to bless us, what can be a bigger fortune than this,” he said, adding that the way entire Vidarbha is blessing the ruling government and has decided “‘NDA government 400 paar'”.

PM Modi said that it is “Modi’s guarantee” that many irrigation schemes “stalled” during Congress regime have been completed. “We are on a mission to build the nation and change the lives of people. Whatever we did in the last 10 years, is the foundation of the next 25 years. I have vowed to develop each and every corner of India,” the Prime Minister added.
