'Today' Fans Can't Handle Dylan Dreyer's "Precious" Instagram of Her Husband and Children

Asia's Tech News Daily

Dylan Dreyer and her husband, Brian Fichera, are encouraging Today fans to get their head in the clouds for their exciting new project.

The weather anchor and NBC News cameraman welcomed their new baby, Russell James Fichera, in early October. And while the duo is adjusting becoming parents to three boys, the launch of their children’s picture book series is also here. But before their schedules picked up again with the promotion of Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day, Brian made sure to squeeze in a moment to enjoy one of his favorite pastimes — baseball.

On Monday, Dylan posted a heartwarming video on Instagram of Brian reading their new book to Rusty, Calvin and Ollie on the couch. But a closer look at the scene revealed that while he was sharing how Misty gets over her bad day, he was also watching the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays face-off in the American League Division Series on an iPad.

After seeing the full picture and understanding what was really happening, the Today show star’s fans immediately took to the comments section to cheer Brian on for being there for both his family and his sports team.

“Love this! ❤️ A dad’s got to do what a dad has to do!!” one person wrote. “That’s some multi-tasking!! 😍,” another added. “This is precious. And the game! 😂😂,” a different fan said. “Whatever it takes to get the job done,” a follower commented. “He’s a legend! ❤️🔥,” someone else quipped.

As it turns out, Brian was determined to tune into the Sunday baseball game after missing a football game earlier that day. Over on his Instagram, he explained that he had gone on a snack run with Ollie but on their way back, the 4-year-old had fallen asleep in his backseat. Unfortunately, after not being able to make the transfer from car to bed, Brian had to stay put until his son woke up… and it wasn’t easy.

All jokes aside, Dylan and Brian couldn’t be happier that Misty the Cloud is officially on bookshelves. Per its description, Misty gets help from her family and friends after having trouble shaking off a bad day. And she learns that while life can get “a little stormy … it will always pass.” It’s the first in a franchise aiming to teach kids “how to deal with good days, bad days, and everything in between.”

We can’t wait to get our hands on it ASAP!
