TikTok demanda a EE.UU. por una ley que amenaza con vetar su uso en el país

Washington (EE.UU.), 7 may (EFE).- TikTok cumplió este martes con sus amenazas e interpuso una demanda ante un tribunal del Distrito de Columbia con la intención de bloquear una ley estadounidense que podría obligar a prohibir la popular aplicación en todo el país.

La empresa había advertido que emprendería acciones legales en abril, después de que el Congreso de Estados Unidos aprobó dicha ley que obliga a ByteDance, un conglomerado tecnológico chino, a vender las operaciones de la red social en el país norteamericano o enfrentar una prohibición para operar.
