Shane Nasby to Open Second Location of Cledis Burgers in Bellevue

Elm Hill Pike’s funky burger shack and beer garden is getting a second location — Cledis Burgers & Beer Garden is bringing its smash patties and Old Bay-seasoned wings to Bellevue this fall.

Named after chef-owner Shane Nasby’s grandfather, Cledis has quickly made a name for itself with its inventive twists on burger toppings and the crispy patties being churned out from a food truck parked in the beer garden.

The new location will carry some of the same creative concoctions as the Elm Hill spot — like the Billy Berry Smash topped with grilled onions, goat cheese, and a strawberry jalapeno jam — along with sandwiches, wings, and loaded fries. New to Bellevue: more seating, an expanded liquor and wine selection, and kitschy fun decor in the form of ’80s and ’90s toys, action figures, and pop culture collectibles.

The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner and is located at 7648 Hwy 70 S.

Frankie’s to host its first-ever block party

The Frankie’s empire in East Nashville (the Pizzeria, Spuntino, and the Bottega) will shut down all its spaces on Sunday, Apil 28 from noon to 5 p.m. for a site-wide block party. Taking over all the patios, the team will be grilling up porchetta, sausage and pepper sandos, and pizza while offering salumi, Italian ice, a wine bar, beer, and spritzes throughout the afternoon. Count on lawn games and music to accompany the eats at the party, which is also open to pets. Admission is free (no tickets required), however, food and drinks are an additional cost.
