PETALING JAYA: Seorang pemimpin Umno membidas Ahli Parlimen Ketereh, Annuar Musa yang memberi amaran berhubung pengguguran Tajuddin Abdul Rahman daripada Majlis Kerja Tertinggi (MKT) akan mencetuskan krisis dan perpecahan dalam parti.
Ahli MKT, Puad Zarkashi berkata, Tajuddin dilantik dan bukannya dipilih sebagai ahli MKT, jadi ia normal untuk Umno memecat dan menggantikan ahli yang dilantik menganggotai pucuk pimpinan parti.
Katanya, krisis hanya akan berlaku dalam parti jika ada “tukang kipas dan batu api yang mengapikannya”.
“Annuar cuba menghasut dengan mengatakan tindakan terhadap Tajuddin berisiko cetuskan krisis dalam parti.
“Tajuddin bukan dipecat. Dia MKT dilantik. Dia digugurkan untuk diganti oleh orang lain. Takkan itu pun Annuar tidak faham.
“Bila lawan keputusan parti, memang wajib digugur dan dipecat. Itu cerita sebenarnya,” kata Puad dalam catatan Facebook.
Beliau berkata, Annuar sendiri pernah digugurkan sebagai ketua penerangan Umno, begitu juga Ahmad Maslan dan Shamsul Anuar Nasarah, tetapi tiada krisis tercetus dalam parti.
Puad turut mempersoalkan Annuar yang membisu ketika Tajuddin dipecat Perdana Menteri ketika itu, Muhyiddin Yassin sebagai pengerusi Prasarana pada 2021.
Jumaat lalu, Annuar yang juga menteri komunikasi dan multimedia memberi bayangan ada beberapa nama lagi “dalam senarai menunggu” untuk dipecat selepas dicap sebagai musuh politik.
Beliau yang dipecat sebagai setiausaha agung Barisan Nasional pada Januari 2021 berkata, walaupun terdapat peruntukan untuk presiden Umno memecat ahli MKT dilantik, tetapi tindakan itu tidak membawa kebaikan.
Tajuddin, yang juga Ahli Parlimen Pasir Salak, antara 13 individu yang dilantik oleh presiden parti untuk menganggotai MKT.
Presiden Umno, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi dilaporkan berkata, Tajuddin digugurkan daripada MKT kerana tindak-tanduknya mengkritik parti.
