(WJET/WFXP) — Winter weather — some enjoy it while others despise it. Whether a lover or hater, the sights, and activities make the season a magically unique spectacle to enjoy, especially when bundled up in a comfortable setting.

But where can you enjoy those comfy magical winter feelings? A new report can answer that.

According to a report from New York Travel Guides, date across 575 small towns in the United States show which were the coziest of places to spend during the snowy season.

Whether ice skating, admiring a myriad of Christmas lights, snowy mountain views, bonfires and hot chocolate, holiday shopping and more, their list features towns you just might want to visit for yourself.

Each category was scored out of 100 and was calculated through multiple factors, including relative search interest, snowfall amounts, average high temperatures and festivals and activities.

A full breakdown of the study’s methodology can be found online. You can also check out the full list of winter getaway towns across the nation here.
