This 410-HP Suzuki Hayabusa Is The Kawasaki Ninja H2 R's Kryptonite

- With TTS Performance’s affordable supercharger kit, the new Hayabusa can surpass the Kawasaki Ninja H2 R for a fraction of the cost.
- The supercharged Hayabusa offers consistent power gains across RPM range, making it a solid choice for speed enthusiasts.
The Suzuki Hayabusa has always been a kickass motorcycle for custom jobs. Particularly, the ones that involve going super fast in a straight line. Although the second-gen model still reigns supreme as the go-to for these things, the latest model is walking the same path slowly. We’ve already seen turbocharged beasts that breach 200 MPH in seven seconds, and now, there’s another insane creation you need to see. It’s crazy for two reasons; first, the baffling over-400-HP output, and second, that it still looks perfectly stock!

A Supercharger Helps This Suzuki Hayabusa Produce 410-HP
Let’s face it, the latest-gen Busa is not as mighty as its previous iteration. Sure, it boasts more technology and tractability, but when it comes to sheer grunt, the gen-II is still the craziest ‘Busa since 1999. Make the right upgrades, though, and you can manage some baffling numbers even from the new model. That’s what UK-based TTS Performance excels at.
Doing what it does best, the shop has slapped on one of its exclusive supercharger kits on the gen-III Hayabusa in context. It comprises a Rotrex supercharger, complete with all necessary inclusions such as an intercooler and oil cooler. Also, the Busa is running a tweaked cam timing, in addition to a full-system Akrapovic four-into-one exhaust.
All that translates to some solid power gains. You’re looking at 410 horsepower and 213 pound-feet on the dyno, compared to the stock bike’s 187 horsepower and 110 pound-feet. This gain pushes the supercharged Hayabusa well ahead of Kawasaki’s supercharged beast: the 320-HP Ninja H2 R.
More importantly, the surge in power is quite consistent, unlike a turbocharged bike. The dyno chart shows the bump in power starts from as low as 2,000 RPM and picks up steadily all the way to 10,000 RPM. At the latter end, the stock Busa tapers off, but the supercharged model breaches the 400 mark. So you essentially have over twice as much oomph on tap.
