‘The bike is t hat one that we used in Malaysia; we’ll try to polish some details’ – Fabio Di Giannantonio
This week’s tests in Qatar are the last chance for Fabio Di Giannantonio to work with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team before the start of the season with his new team.
It’s two days of work in Losail, for which the Italian has a well-defined approach, as he stated: ‘We don’t have many, many things to try. Honestly the bike is that one that we used in Malaysia, so we will work trying to polish some details from Malaysia and also from last year. So we will try to polish some details to arrive as ready as possible for Qatar [GP]’.
Regarding his adaptation to VR46, Di Giannantonio mentioned: ‘The relationship is incredible. Honestly I’m super happy, I’m like a kid in the garage because I feel so good with every member of the team. We enjoy a lot the time together. Also the atmosphere is quite nice, there is a good vibe, everybody is smiling all the time, so it gives you a little more confidence and calm also. That’s good. We are working a lot in the garage to see where we can improve a little bit more. For sure on track you have to put this work together, but it’s more in the garage’.
