As part of its 2023 “best places to live” list, analytics website Niche handed out letter grades to towns and cities for their level of crime and safety. The suburbs of Medina, Deephaven, and Bayport were given “A” grades in the new report.

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL METRO AREA, MN — One of the top factors that play into the desirability of a certain town or neighborhood in Minnesota is how safe its residents living there feel.

As part of its 2023 “best places to live” list, analytics website Niche handed out letter grades to towns and cities for their level of crime and safety. The suburbs of Medina, Deephaven, and Bayport were given “A” grades in the new report.

Niche calculated its grades based on crime data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and health data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Learn more about its methodology here.
