'Their relationship fizzled out' Friends of Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are not surprised it's over

It was a match that no one saw coming and a split that certainly has taken us by surprise as it is to be believed that Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are no longer together.

Just weeks after her breakup with Joe Alwyn, with whom she had dated for six years, suddenly there was a new man in the singer’s life who also hailed from the UK…she certainly has a thing for British boys.

The Anti-Hero singer apparently has no time for heartbreak as according to The Sun she has fallen madly in love with Denise Welch’s singer son Matty Healy.

But alas, it looks like their love has fizzled out and Taylor is back on the market but the question on most people’s lips…what happened?

According to Entertainment Tonight, a source close to them spoke of how the couple had gone their separate ways after a brief romance.

They went on to say how both musicians ‘are both extremely busy and realised they’re not really compatible with each other.’

They added how ‘Taylor’s friends want what’s best for her and aren’t shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship.’

It’s not the first time the 33-year-old has been linked to The 1975 frontman as over ten years ago the famous pair were linked but things apparently didn’t work out.

The relationship between Taylor and Matty did surprise fans as many thought the connection she has with Joe was the real deal.

After six years together, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the relationship reportedly had just ‘run its course’ and the pair ended it in a way that was ‘not dramatic’.

Over the course of their romance, the couple has always been extremely private and has also never been spotted on the red carpet together.
