The Premier League's VERY lavish winter break: Footballers and their WAGs jet off to exotic locations as Cristiano Ronaldo kicks back in Dubai while Roberto Firmino and his brood relax in the Maldives

The Premier League is currently taking a winter break.

And the stars of England’s top tier squads have certainly taken advantage of the time off, as they jetted to sun-soaked locations across the globe with their loved ones to indulge in some rest and relaxation. 

Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, shared snaps from his stay in Dubai as he jetted out to the UAE to celebrate his fiancée Georgina Rodríguez’s 28th birthday with their children, while Liverpool ace Roberto Firmino shared an adorable family snap from his stay in the Maldives.

The Manchester United footballer took to Instagram to share a scorching snap of himself bathing in the sun shirtless, showing off his chiselled abs whilw wearing trunks emblazoned with his own name.

Taking the opportunity to relax, the Manchester United forward sipped on a coconut enjoying the time off to recuperate before he faces Middlesbrough on February 4.

The family – who naturally flew by private jet – shared snaps from Georgina’s luxury birthday celebrations  as she posed in front of the Burj Khalifa, which featured a promotional image from her new Netflix show.

Back at the hotel balloons and floral displays covered their suite as they truly celebrated the day in style. 

Elsewhere in Dubai, Harry Maguire spent time on the golf course with Jordan Pickford, while holidaying with their respective girlfriends Fern Hawkin and Megan Davison.   

The Red Devils captain has been taking part in the Dubai Desert Classic Pro-Am alongside Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner, Andy Robertson and Jordan.

Cristiano, Harry and Jordan are among the plethora of Premier League players taking in some sun and enjoying a well-earned rest in the UAE.

The Manchester United superstar jetted out to Dubai with his family and he has been joined in the Gulf state by teammates Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Diogo Dalot. 

As well as working on their tans, the United contingent have been staying in shape at the world-renowned Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, a state-of-the art compound with training pitches.

Marcus shared shirtless snaps from their training session and wrote: ‘No days off.’

While Jesse Lingard also got in on the action and showcased his tattooed torso while out on the pitch.
