Timothy Liljegren makes his return to the lineup while Max Domi will be able to suit up for the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday night against the Detroit Red Wings.
Domi was absent from practice Friday and was considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury but head coach Sheldon Keefe was optimistic that he would be able to play.
Liljegren makes his return to the lineup after being sidelined for eight games with an upper-body injury. In 52 games this season, the 24-year-old defenceman has three goals and 23 points while averaging a career-high 19:40 of ice time per game.
After making his return Thursday, Joel Edmundson will not be able to play Saturday with an injury. Keefe said it was not the same ailment that kept him out for six games.
Ryan Reaves is also slated to return after he sat out the last two games. Jake McCabe is also expected to be back in the lineup after he sat out for a maintenance day.
