IFS officer shares 4 tips on how to move on in life: ‘The more we cling to our past…’
Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Himanshu Tyagi recently revealed how he helped a batchmate at IIT move on from a “bad breakup” and offered suggestions to others on how to look ahead in life after a difficult period.
Writing on X (formerly Twitter), Tyagi emphasised the need to make up one’s mind about moving on and suggested others to remove all cues which would give a reminder about the past.
“Cut off all cues. Remove anything that may remind you of your past. E.g. gifts, books, photos etc. So many good things in life. Why waste emotions on something irrelevant?” Tyagi wrote.
Tyagi also spoke about the need for personal growth, to try and improve aspects such as health and skills and also suggested to give timely reminders about the progress made.
This, however, is not the first instance of Tyagi offering suggestions to help budding students stay focussed on the bigger goal.
In March, Tyagi gave suggestions on how students can stay focussed while preparing for an IIT exam and realise their dreams.
