The Block: Kitchen reveals trailer shows team storm off in protest

There’s plenty of drama to come during Sunday’s kitchen reveals on The Block.

A teaser trailer released by Nine shows judges Neale Whitaker, Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer looking very impressed as they tour the renovated kitchens.

But things go awry when they notice a ‘gigantic mistake’ in one of the rooms.

After praising the ‘absolutely stunning’ and ‘impeccable’ kitchens, a stunned Neale calls out a baffling design choice.

‘Why would you do that?’ he asks, to which Darren replies: ‘It makes me want to vomit.’

The trailer then cuts to the end of the episode as the teams get their final scores.

The contestants look anxious as host Scott Cam stands in front of the leaderboard, and it doesn’t take long for tensions to boil over.

Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie storm off the set after getting some unwelcome feedback, before Scott sarcastically waves goodbye.

‘They’re gone already… see you later,’ he says.

For the first time in a while, it seems Tanya and Vito Guccione aren’t the centre of the drama on Sunday’s episode.

Mitch and Mark instead take centre stage, perhaps after a rare design misstep sees them tumble to the bottom of the scoreboard.

The Block continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine
