Britain's toughest job interview continues and tonight, the multi millionaire CEO will order the hopeful candidates to create a brand new, non-alcoholic drink.

It comes after the boys had a disastrous Week 2, when the teams were tasked with designing & creating toothbrush – with their “turd” resembling toothbrush costing them yet another loss to the girls.

The episode culminated with a tense boardroom clash, with Lord Sugar firing sales executive and former professional rugby player Conor Gilsenan.

Week two project manager Aaron Willis decided to bring him back into the boardroom, along with Nick Showering after they failed the task against the girls for the second week running.

How did Lord Sugar earn his fortune?

The business mogul has earned his money through a string of business ventures, most notably founding Amstrad, a computer and electronics company, in 1968.

At the height of its success, Amstrad alone was worth an estimated £1.2billion, however, it was sold in 2007 to BSkyB for £125million.

On top of this, he runs Amsprop alongside his son, Daniel Sugar, who acts as MD for Amsprop Estates.

The company invests in commercial property across London and Essex and has since sold on some of their portfolios to other investors for a significant profit.

In 2015, the firm sold Burberry's Haymarket flagship store location on for more than double the price – cashing in a £65million cheque on a property that cost them £31.5million.

Lord Sugar has also appeared on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and An Audience with Jeremy Beadle.

In January 2009 he was the subject of a BBC documetary hosted by Fiona Bruce, called The Real Sir Alan.

Who got fired in Week One?

Harry Mahmood – who was on the hit show along with 15 other hopefuls in a bid to secure a £250,000 investment for their business – became the first to get the boot when his team lost the challenge.

He was sent home despite the team losing over a Cruise ship brand logo produced by Akeem Bundu-Kamara for that was brown and green and looked like poo.

Apprentice fans branded show a fix after last week's firing

THE Apprentice fans have branded the show a fix claiming the “wrong person” was sent home again.

The boys' team lost another task this week and project manager, Aaron Willis, was dragged back into the boardroom along with Connor Gilsenan and Nick Showering.

Viewers thought Aaron was a goner as it was his idea to create a kids' toothbrush that looked like a wizard's wand – which in the end resembled “a turd”.

But The Apprentice candidate laid the blame for winning zero sales on Connor's decision to make their character Wiffy The Wizard a boy instead of gender-neutral.

Aaron fought tooth and nail for his place and despite Lord Sugar slamming the “poo” like brush, Connor was sent packing.

Viewers were in uproar on Twitter over the business mogul's decision.

    More about this week's task

Tonight (January 20, 2022) will see Lord Sugar and his candidates meet at Mercato Metrapolitano in Mayfair, a former church now offering artisan food and drink from around the world.

Who left The Apprentice in Week Two?

Last week (January 13, 2021) the 15 remaining candidates had to design a toothbrush aimed at children aged 6-8 years old.

The second episode of season 16 saw the boys lose the task after their toothbrush was accused of “looking like a turd” instead of a wand because of the brown and green colours.

After losing the task, team leader Aaron Willis decided to take Conor Gilsenan and Nick Showering into the boardroom and after consulting with his advisers Karren Brady and Tim Campbell, Lord Sugar told Conor “You're Fired”.

Then in a shock move it was revealed on January 18, 2022, that Sharma Amin had quit the show due to a “painful” medical condition.

“Because of medical reasons, due to this process being so physically demanding, despite the efforts the whole team has made to support me, I’ve had to make a difficult decision to leave the process.”
