(TAP) – Some 72 top African golfers, including three Tunisians, will compete for the title of the first African Amateur Championship to be held in South Africa from February 21 to 24.
The Tunisian golfing contingent will be represented by Ilyes Barhoumi, Baha Boulakmine and Aziz Dardouri, who have been selected for their technical skills with the aim of improving their world rankings.
This African event is being organised at the behest of the International Federation and the choice of South Africa as the host country was made in consultation with the African confederation.
Alongside the men’s championship, there will be a women’s event featuring the top 20 female golfers on the circuit.
