Gardai found a shotgun, cannabis, and cocaine during the search of a wasteland in west Dublin
A teenage boy was arrested after Gardai seized drugs and a shotgun in Dublin.
Finglas officers found €59,000 of suspected cocaine in a wasteland area in Blanchardstown on Tuesday, May 7. Later that day, a second search was undertaken and gardai found more drugs and a gun.
Suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €52,500 as well as €5,400 of cannabis and a sawn-off shotgun was recovered by officers. A garda spokesman said: “A male juvenile, aged in his teens, was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 30 Offenses Against the State Act, 1939 at a Garda Station in North Dublin.
“The drugs and firearm seized will be sent for further examination. Investigations are ongoing.”
