Zara Tindall was back in the saddle today as she braved the gloomy weather to compete in the second day of the Burnham Market Horse Trials in Norfolk.
The daughter of the Princess Royal, 42, was ready for action as she elegantly manoeuvred through the impressive course, dressed in her typical navy blue riding attire.
The King’s niece, who shares daughters Mia, ten, and Lena, five, and son, Lucas, three, with former England rugby star Mike Tindall, wore white jodhpurs covered by the long, double-breasted coat.
She completed her ensemble with a matching navy and white hat, and opted for a pair of knee-high black riding boots.
Her outing comes after it was revealed that her brother Peter Phillips, 46, has split from his ‘rock solid’ girlfriend Lindsay Wallace after three years together.

Zara’s illustrious riding career includes a gold at the European Eventing Championships in 2005 and a silver at the World Equestrian Games in 2006.
Last month, the royal kicked off the Easter weekend with an equestrian competition, joining the cream of British eventers at the Thoresby Park International Eventing Spring Carnival in Newark.
The Princess Royal’s daughter looked relaxed during the first international event of the British season, which is seen as a forerunner for Badminton Horse Trials in early May.
Wearing bright white jodhpurs and a navy jacket over a grey hoodie, with a navy and white riding hat, the royal also donned sunglasses as she put her beloved gelding Class Affair through his paces at the event.
Meanwhile, Zara’s brother Peter, who was said to be the late Queen’s favourite grandson, started dating his old friend Lindsay, 43, following his divorce from Autumn Kelly, 45, in 2021.
The pair have now gone their separate ways after the relationship ‘ran its course’, a source told the Sun.
Peter and Lindsay, an oil tycoon’s daughter, are still amicable, with no one else believed to be involved.
Lindsay has been to various royal events with Peter, who is very close to his uncle, King Charles.

‘They were friends before their relationship blossomed. But Peter and Lindsay have gone their separate ways as the relationship simply ran its course,’ a source told the Sun.
A friend of the couple added to Hello! that Peter’s work commitments means he’s been travelling ‘non-stop’.
‘Peter and Lindsay made the difficult decision to separate as they were spending less time together with work and family commitments. Peter’s business commitments and work in F1 meant he has been away and travelling non stop,’ the source said.
‘It obviously came as a shock as most people thought they were absolutely rock solid, it’s very sad. Peter has been travelling all over the world and has been incredibly busy and Lindsay is based up in Scotland, so it’s been hard for them to see each other.’

The late queen’s grandson, who lives on his mother’s Gatcombe Park estate, does not get money from the royal grant and works as head of partner acquisition for the rights agency CSM Sport & Entertainment and as an ambassador for ISPS Handa, as well as various other endorsement gigs.
In June, a friend of the King’s nephew told Hello that Peter has always been ‘extremely close’ with Charles and that ‘it meant a lot’ that he was able to bring Lindsay to the Coronation concert.
The source told the outlet: ‘He is in a great place at the moment and could not be happier in either his private or personal life.’
The friend added the pair look ‘so natural’ in each other’s company, adding they are ‘incredibly happy’ together.

‘Lindsay really is a breath of fresh air and it’s clear to see both Lindsay and Peter are loving life,’ the friend continued.
Peter and Canadian-born Autumn announced they were separating in 2020, with the divorce finalised in 2021. They share two daughters, Savannah, 13, and Isla, 12.
Meanwhile, stay-at-home mother Lindsay parted from businessman husband of 11 years Andrew, at around the same time that Peter announced his divorce.
Lindsay, a mother-of-two, knows Peter and his sister, Zara, from their school days at £45,000-a-year Gordonstoun.
Lindsay was in the same year as Zara at school and was among the guests at the royal’s 2011 wedding to rugby star Mike.
