Tayvan, ada çevresinde Çin’e ait 22 askeri hava aracının tespit edildiğini duyurdu.

Tayvan Adası’nın çevresinde Çin’e ait 22 askeri hava aracının tespit edildiği, bunlardan 12’sinin Tayvan Boğazı’nda tarafların etki alanlarını sınırladığı varsayılan hava ve deniz hattını aştığı bildirildi.

Tayvan Savunma Bakanlığının X sosyal medya platformundaki hesabından yapılan açıklamada, bugün sabah saatlerinden itibaren 22 hava aracının Ada çevresinde görüldüğü belirtildi.

Açıklamada, 22 askeri hava aracından 12’sinin, Tayvan Boğazı’ndaki itibari quot;orta çizgiquot;nin ötesine geçtiği ve Tayvan’ın quot;Hava Savunma Tanımlama Bölgesi (ADIZ)quot; ilan ettiği sahada uçtuğu kaydedildi.

Uçuşların, ABD Dışişleri Bakanı Antony Blinken’in 24-26 Nisan’da Çin’e yaptığı ziyaretini tamamlamasının ardından yoğunlaşması dikkati çekti.

Çin’in topraklarının parçası olduğunu savunduğu Tayvan, 1949’dan bu yana fiili bağımsızlığa sahip bulunuyor. Çin ana karası ile Tayvan arasında iç savaşın ardından ortaya çıkan ayrılık ve egemenlik ihtilafı sürüyor.
