Turn 7 is closing and having more sales to sell product.
A discount store at the Moorestown Mall will soon close its doors to make way for a new-concept entertainment center.
Turn7 recently posted signs about its closing and discounting its merchandise. The retailer, specializing in selling goods returned to retailers, took over the former Lord + Taylor department store — which also served as a massive COVID vaccine center in the early months of the pandemic.
Township and mall officials have targeted the 121,000-square-foot space for an unnamed entertainment business that will offer games of chance and skill.
Burlington County voters in November approved a referendum that would allow the mall to open such a venue.

Turn 7 is having sales in advance of its closing at Moorestown Mall.
Moorestown Mayor, Nicole Gillespie said “It passed by a very wide margin — 3762-1834. We’re very excited to see this new entertainment concept come to life.”

While the mall has not identified its desired tenant, they have confirmed the project is underway.
“We are thrilled to be able to take the next step in transforming Moorestown Mall into an all-encompassing community hub complete with fun for everyone and look forward to being able to share more details about new tenants in the coming weeks,” mall owner PREIT said in a statement.
The venue is likely to include roller skating, virtual reality, escape rooms, bowling, laser tag, arcades, go carts and more.
Games of chance at the venue would be regulated by the state’s Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission.
Gillespie has previously said the games would not be casino-style or in-person gambling and prizes would not be money or anything of high value.
