Tata Steel shares are currently close to 52-week high of Rs 170.75. Around 10:30 AM, the largecap metal stock traded at Rs 165 apiece.
According to Kkunal Parar, Tata Steel could be a good buy from trading perspective. The stock is currently trading higher than 20-day, 50-day, 100-day and 200-day moving averages but lower than 5-day.

The analyst said that the first target for Tata Steel shares is Rs 169 and the next target of Rs 173.

Tata Steel is a constituent of S&P BSE SENSEX. According to BSE analytics as on May 9, the largecap metal stock has climbed 16 per cent in the last 3 months. Tata Steel has delivered a positive return of 37 per cent in the last 6 months and 50 per cent in a year.

Tata Steel is one high dividend paying stocks. It has a dividend yield of more than 2 per cent at the current market price.
In June 2023, Tata Steel had paid a dividend of Rs 3.60 on each stock to its investors. Back in 2022, the Tata Group company had rewarded its investors by paying a whopping Rs 51 dividend on each stock just ahead of the sub-division of stock split.
