Australia’s Cameron Green and Josh Hazlewood create history with record 10th wicket partnership against New Zealand
NEW DELHI: Australia’s Cameron Green and Josh Hazlewood etched their names in the annals of cricket history by forming the highest 10th wicket partnership against New Zealand in Test cricket. The remarkable feat unfolded on Friday at the Basin Reserve in Wellington, marking a significant moment in the ongoing Test match between the two cricketing powerhouses.
The duo’s partnership of 116 runs not only shattered the previous record of 114 runs set by Jason Gillespie and Glenn McGrath in Brisbane back in 2004 but also propelled Australia to a commanding position in the match.

Their stellar performance came as a welcome relief for the reigning ICC World Test Championship winners after a challenging opening day on the field.

This innings marked only the second time Green had reached triple figures for Australia in Test cricket, surpassing his previous best of 114 against India in Ahmedabad the previous year.
