Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2: Vikram and SU Arun Kumar grab attention with intriguing teaser

Chiyaan Vikram’s 58th birthday is turning out to be a feast for his fans as they have gotten two major updates on the actor’s upcoming films. The day started with a tribute to the actor from Pa Ranjith and Thangalaan team. The video features some of the behind-the-scenes moments of Vikram from the sets of Thangalaan. Even as the promo is going viral on social media, a teaser of his upcoming film with director SU Arun Kumar has also been unveiled. Along with the promo, the title of the film was announced – Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2.

You read that right. It’s Part 2. Looks like the film will have a prequel, or one has to wait to see what Arun Kumar is up to with the unique move. It has to be noted that the director wants to get into the narrative late and exit early. The teaser also features the second part of a fight between the protagonist and a gang. Already wounded by the person, the group reassembles in front of his grocery shop to make their first move. However, their person of interest is already prepared to take them. He is not an unassuming shop owner as he seems to own a shotgun. There’s clearly a backstory to the hero, to the scene, and to the film itself. It is the second act, and that’s some brilliant storytelling from the director.

Heroism is the forte of SU Arun Kumar, who made his debut with Sethupathi, which is still remembered for its headstrong hero. After directing Chithha, a devastating story of child sexual abuse, Arun Kumar seems to have chosen a heroic film. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the movie, which has SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dussara Vijayan in important roles.
