Temu may be earning an official spot on our list of go-to stops whenever we’re hunting for our next home decor DIY project supplies. The brand seemed to emerge out of thin air just a few years ago with a promise of fast fashion at prices rivaling Shein. However, the home decor and crafting categories seem to be what they’re most beloved for.

TikToker Lary Jenkins (@larydjenkins) made a strong case for updating your home with Temu finds via her polyester film-assisted accent wall. Now, she’s showing that the gilded home update was no strike of luck with Temu. The fast fashion retailer boasts loads more goodies for updating your space — including pampas grass that can be used for a variety of things.

Lary’s followers ate this DIY mirror project up, popping into her comments to inquire about where she found everything from the mirror to the drill she mounted it with. Lary noted that her mirror is from Walmart and it appears to be the 18-inch $15 Mainstay one. She used a hot glue gun to attach the $1.05 faux pampas grass stems from Temu around the edge. The crafter arranged the pampas grass so that each piece covers the glued stems, making it a DIY mirror that doesn’t look strangely homemade.

The beauty of this DIY boho mirror idea shared by Lary is that you can remix it to suit your own space.

Faux pampas grass comes in so many hue offerings and styles. You can play with the different pampas types for differentiated texture. It’s also a great idea to switch up the color to better suit your decor — think blush pampas for the boho Barbie Dreamhouse girlies, black for the chic brooding goth-inspired, or a soft grey for people who love a icy cool space.
