Sky News Australia host Sharri Markson hits back at claims the findings of the newly published gender pay gap report will result in a rise of men supporting Andrew Tate.
The report published on Tuesday found the median gender pay gap to be at 19 per cent, meaning the median female worker earns $18,461 less over the course of a year compared to the median male worker.
‘Equal pay is not ideology’: Sharri Markson slams criticism of gender pay gap report
“It has stunned me that since the release of this report we’ve seen claims that this report will turn men into Andrew Tate supporters.
“That this is just a left-wing ideological issue.
“Equal pay is not ideology.
“This is simply saying that women are equal to men.
“That women are capable of doing the same jobs as men in corporate Australia, and that women should be paid the same.”
