The driver of the SUV in the viral hit-and-run incident in Mandaluyong City responded on Thursday to the criminal complaint against him.
Assisted by counsel, Jose Antonio Sanvicente filed his counter-affidavit with the Mandaluyong Prosecutor’s Office during the preliminary investigation hearing, according to a report by Super Radyo dzBB’s Mark Makalalad.

Sanvicente is facing charges of frustrated murder and abandonment of one’s own victim in connection with the hit-and-run incident involving security guard Christian Joseph Floralde on June 5.
Floralde’s lawyer, Federico Biolena, expressed confidence that the prosecutors would rule in their favor, citing the strong evidence they had presented.
Floralde failed to attend the hearing as he was indisposed, his lawyer said.
