Ex-Chiefs star Billiat was rejected by three PSL clubs, forcing him to return to Zim

Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs soccer star Khama Billiat has failed to secure a contract with any Premier Soccer League (PSL) clubs.

As a result, he will be returning to his home country, Zimbabwe, and joining Zimbabwean Premier League side Dynamos FC, as reported by various sources.

Billiat has been without a team since leaving Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last season when his contract expired.

He was reportedly offered a new contract with a reduced salary but the ex-Sundowns winger declined the offer.

Khama Billiat’s move away from Chiefs did not work out

In his pursuit of finding a new team, Billiat reportedly approached several DStv Premier League clubs, including SuperSport United, Cape Town City, and Cape Town Spurs, but failed to attract their interest.

As a result, he sent his representatives to negotiate with Dynamos FC. According to reports, the deal is now confirmed, and Khama Billiat will be joining the team soon.

Billiat’s return to Zimbabwe marks a significant change in his career.

He will be the highest-paid Premier League star in Zimbabwe, and it remains to be seen how he will perform in the upcoming season. He will wear the number 12 jersey according to Hmetro.
