The festival celebrates numerous forms of art, including, oil, watercolor, sculpture and jewelry.
This year’s festival features about 100 local artists, all chosen by a team of experts. Officials say they received an overwhelming amount of applications, and 31% of the festival’s artists will be new to the event.
“Our 2021 roster includes many popular and returning artists, such as celebrated local painter Niki Sands, jeweler Darren Kensington and photographer Charles Siefert,” said Danielle Bisterfeldt, senior vice president, marketing and consumer experience, Summerlin.
The festival will also feature live art demonstrations, interactive robotics demonstrations and kid-friendly events.
The Summerlin Festival of Arts is a two-day event beginning on Oct. 9 at the Lawn of Downtown Summerlin (1980 Festival Plaza Drive).Internet Explorer Channel Network
