Rose Ayling-Ellis and her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice appeared to be in high spirits following the filming of It Takes Two on Tuesday night.

The actress, 26, and the choreographer, 31, put on a warm display as they exited London’s Riverside Studios.

The outing came after Giovanni revealed that they both already feel ‘like winners’ of the show, regardless of the outcome.

Wrapping up in a wool navy coat, EastEnders star Rose looked impeccable wearing some high-waisted cream trousers and a printed top.

She finished off the look with some platform heels and wore her brown locks in beachy waves.

Meanwhile, Giovanni cut a dapper figure in a green and mauve three-piece suit which he teamed up with an orange tie.

On Monday, the pair appeared on The One Show to talk about how their partnership is sending an important message to viewers of the show.

Giovanni told Lauren Laverne: ‘I think for me and Rose it’s definitely been from the beginning more than just about dancing.’

‘I adapt myself a new way of teaching and obviously Rose has a different way of learning, but I think with the dance that we did, we definitely sent a very strong message to everybody for the Deaf community and we both feel already like winners,’ he explained.

He added: ‘Obviously, winning the glitter ball would be nice, like the cherry on the cake, but we are very proud of what we are doing.’

The dance partners are one of just four couples still in the running to win the Glitterball Trophy this year.

This week’s quarter-final will see the pair perform an American Smooth to This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole in hopes of making it to the all-important semi-final.

Last week, the duo kicked off the show with a powerful Paso Doble to Sia’s California Dreamin’, which received mostly positive feedback from the judges.

Rose, who was born deaf, has been tipped to win the series, after moving viewers to tears with her moving performances and raising awareness for the deaf community.

Head judge Shirley praised: ‘What a way to open the show. You are a class act. You are bringing it week in and week out.’

Craig, who was back on the panel after testing positive for COVID-19, commended the choreography however wasn’t as impressed as his fellow judges.

‘I thought it was a little upright and stiff. I didn’t feel you pound around the floor as much as you could,’ he said.

Cynthia used sign language among some of her comments, saying: ‘You have this power in you that moves across the floor. Well done.’

They scored 33 for their efforts.
