Celebrity chef Rick Stein has launched a brand new weekend getaway for foodies. It’s the ideal holiday for anyone who loves visiting Cornwall but are also interested in developing their culinary talents.

The Ramble and Recharge holiday break has been meticulously planned by the chef and gives guests a chance to reconnect with nature via scenic walking trails and enjoy the best of British seafood. Available for booking until March, Rick Stein’s winter escape may be the perfect solution to help you beat the January blues, reports Cornwall Live.

Guests will be able to enjoy Cornwall’s stunning beaches and cliff walks, while staying in beautifully appointed rooms. They all have quirky names including Rick Stein’s St Petroc’s Bistro, St Edmund’s House and The Seafood Restaurant.

Originally from Oxfordshire, Rick and family used to come to Cornwall for long summer holidays. His parents owned Polventon, a large art deco house at Mother Ivey’s Bay.

Now, he’s one of Britain’s most famous chefs and a household name in Cornwall and around the world. His Ramble & Recharge’ holiday package makes the most of nature in its purest form, helping to bring inner peace and providing a welcoming escape from the stresses of everyday life.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast each morning, before heading out to explore one of three detailed walking routes mapped out in Stein’s trail guide, which features insights into the benefits of walking the coast, including tips on mindful breathing and walking meditation.

Walks are suitable for people of all abilities, from gentle rambles to more ambitious hikes, ranging from three miles to a longer, more challenging seven miles. All coastal walks take you along the stunning Cornish coastline, hitting some incredible landmarks and towns like Padstow to Crugmeer and Stepper Point.

They’ll aslo be a feast of the finest Cornish seafood on offer, so guests can enjoy a well-deserved warming three-course lunch from the set menu at St Petroc’s Bistro in Padstow, as well as a three-course dinner from the A La Carte menu at the renowned The Seafood Restaurant.

The Ramble and Recharge package is available to book from now until March 28. The weekend getaway package starts from �500 for two people for a two-night stay. The price includes breakfast on both mornings plus one lunch and one dinner. For bookings in January, guests will also receive a complimentary bottle of Rick Stein’s family favourite, Veuve Clicquot Champagne. Prices are subject to change and availability.
