Bart Peeters komt met nieuwe Vlaamse talentenjacht

Bart Peeters komt in België met een nieuwe talentenjacht. Voor de Vlaamse commerciële zender VTM gaat hij Lift You Up maken. Volgens Het Laatste Nieuws wordt het een totaal ander programma dan de talentenjachten die tot nu toe op tv zijn uitgezonden.

Talentenjachten zoals X-Factor of The Voice zijn opgebouwd als competitie waarbij aan het eind in een finale een winnaar wordt gekozen. De Belgen gaan een stap verder. Ze geven het uitverkoren talent ook de kans om meteen op te treden met een van de vier bekende Belgische artiesten. Daarnaast mag het talent een single opnemen met de beroemdheid. Naast Bart Peeters zijn dat Metejoor, Laura Tesoro en Jasper Steverlinck.

Deelnemers kunnen zich via de website van VTM aanmelden. Het format van Lift You Up heeft de zender zelf ontwikkeld, maar hoe de show er precies zal uitzien en hoe de vier artiesten hun talent uitkiezen, blijft nog even geheim. De opnames starten dit najaar en de eerste aflevering is in 2025 te zien bij VTM.
