The exercise aligns with the Company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality and level of services it provides to its valued customers. The below ISO standards include:
o ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS)
o ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
o ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management System (ISMS)
o ISO 20000-1:2018 IT Service Management Systems (ITSMS)
o ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS)
o ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Guidelines (RM)
The certifications come after a thorough and vigorous auditing process performed by one of the leading international certification body in the world.
stc released a statement indicating that the certification process, managed by the Quality Assurance, Cyber Security, Risk, Sustainability and IT Teams, while involving several other sectors in the Company, revealed that the practices and procedures implemented within the Company are as per ISO Standard’s best practices. During the evaluation process, the team presented the necessary requirements requested by the international ISO standards in details, while confirming that internal policies and procedures are adhered to. The requirements and documented procedures were delivered to the independent certification body for verification prior to the submission.
These ISO Certifications come as a testament to the diligent approach taken by stc to implement policies and guidelines to maintain all business-related operations. While the continuity plan goes beyond any restrictive measures, the team at stc had developed a comprehensive management system to effectively control such incidents in case they occur. Through active monitoring and continuously enhancing the system, stc manages to safely continue its operations for its customers and stakeholders while abiding to the guidelines imposed by the government.
