Starbucks UK launches brand new summer menu

As the sun is finally making an appearance across the UK, Starbucks has launched its brand new summer menu.

The drinks and food items were first available last week for Starbucks Rewards members but have now been rolled out to the nation.

As a sweet addition to your usual coffee order, the chain’s new velvety smooth Crème Brulée inspired Cream Cold Foam was created by Starbucks expert beverage developers and born from a love of baking desserts with grandparents in France during childhood.

The first brand new drink in the range is the Crème Brulée x Brown Sugar Frappuccino blended beverage.

It’s the chains fresh take on the iconic brown sugar flavour in blended form, topped with smooth Crème Brulée Cream Cold Foam.

Next, make way for the ultimate shake up: the Crème Brulée x Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso

For the new textural sensation, prices start from £4.85 RRP, which is for the Tall size.

The Brown Sugar and Coffee Frappuccino base is topped with a Crème Brulée inspired Cream Cold Foam and finished with a dusting of fresh coffee grounds.

Next, make way for the ultimate shake up: the Crème Brulée x Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso.

Adorn your go-to Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with the new Crème Brulée inspired Cream Cold Foam, perfectly marrying two caramelised flavours for a summery sip.

Fans will have to fork out £5.00 for the Tall size –  it’s made up of the Starbucks Blonde Espresso roast shaken together with brown sugar syrup and ice, topped with oat drink, and finished with a Crème Brulée inspired Cream Cold Foam and a dusting of fresh coffee grounds.

Last but not least, the Crème Brulée x Cold Brew (from £3.85) has joined the UK menu for summertime – the signature velvety Cold Brew but now with the option to add a creamy twist.

If you fancy something fruitier, Starbucks members can access vibrant and refreshing sips one week early too.

The Dragon Coconut Starbucks Refresha Drink (from £4.75) and Very Berry Starbucks Refresha Drink (from £4.35) are both making their debut this season, joining the returning fan favourite and 2023 sell out sensation, the Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresha Drink (from £4.75).

Famously discontinued in the US, the Very Berry refreshment makes its debut in the UK for the first time, with real fruit juice and whole blackcurrants shaken with ice.

Vibrant, fruity and one of this season’s most tropical flavours, the Mango Dragonfruit version features a hint of mango flavour alongside freeze-dried diced dragon fruit, hand-shaken over ice.

Available from 2 May for the rest of the Summer, alongside the five new summer beverages, Starbucks is also launching bakery delights such as the Hazelnut Cream Brookie (from £2.65) and the Lemon Sherbert Cake Pop (from £2.40).

Also new to the food menu are the All Day Breakfast Wrap (from £4.65), the Lemon Sherbet Cake Pop (from £2.40), the Raspberry and White Chocolate Mallow Top (from £2.55) and finally the Mexican-Style Wrap (from £4.20).

The Mexican-Style Wrap is made up of soya pieces in a three chilli, smoked red pepper and spiced tomato sauce, with coconut oil alternative to mozzarella, roasted red pepper and spinach in a tomato bar marked tortilla wrap.

Meanwhile, the All Day Breakfast Wrap has all the best bits of a Full English Breakfast: free-range scrambled egg with signature BBQ baked beans, Cheddar cheese, pork sausage, hickory smoked streaky bacon and spinach all in a tortilla wrap.

The Lemon Sherbet Cake Pop is a bitesize vanilla cake with a tangy lemon frosting and the Raspberry and White Chocolate Mallow Top has a blondie and cookie base topped with marshmallow and filled with a sharp raspberry jam.

There will also be new vegan food options, such as the Sweetcorn Fritter and Chimichurri Wrap with prices from £4.00.

‘The idea to incorporate this iconic dessert into our beverages came from a desire to elevate our drinks menu by adding a new and creative textural element.

‘After experimenting with various options and flavours, the classic Crème Brulée stood out due to its delicious, velvety twist, and the Crème Brulée inspired Cream Cold Foam was born.​

‘This idea was further enriched by my heritage and the fond memories of cooking traditional French desserts with my grandmother during my childhood.’
