Stacey Solomon surprised her fiancé Joe Swash with a room makeover following his 40th birthday this week.
The TV personality, 32, took to Instagram on Sunday to showcase the transformation of their family home’s ‘Cluedo Room’ into a man cave for her EastEnders partner.
Complete with Joe’s career and life memorabilia, Stacey captioned the post: ‘Happy 40th Birthday DADDY. We hope you had the best birthday ever and we can’t wait to make memories with you forever in your Den…
‘You’re always doing everything you can to make us happy so making your man cave was just the best project ever.
‘You mean everything to us. You’re the best dad, best friend & fiancé we could ever wish for. To the moon and back Joe, Always. Now let’s get married.’
She took to her stories to show the big reveal as Joe was led into the room blindfolded by Zach, Leighton, Harry, Rose and Rex.
Joe could be seen looking at various items associated with his career including a Celebrity MasterChef trophy, an Albert Square street sign and his I’m A Celeb memorabilia.
Stacey wrote: ‘He was sooooo happy! He also was like “I’m scared to go in babe”. He was worried about his reaction.’
Stacey blocked the former EastEnders star on Instagram so she didn’t ruin his milestone birthday surprise.
The TV personality had been preparing a huge room makeover to mark the big day, but didn’t want him peeking at the progress on her social media.
Stacey has been calling the renovated room the ‘Cluedo Room’ due to the wooden panels on the walls, but kept it all a secret from her beau.
The beauty had spent weeks preparing a huge home makeover for him and was planning a big reveal over the weekend.
Stacey has transformed the old-fashioned space, turning into a modern games room and man-cave for birthday boy Joe.
The wood panels have been painted blue, and the star has also installed an area for darts, a huge pool table, and plenty of gadgets to keep Joe entertained.
The original plan was to show Joe the room on his birthday but due to the kids’ plans they had to delay it.
The family’s huge country mansion – named Pickle cottage – has been undergoing constant renovation since they moved in back in March 2021.
Joe and Stacey share baby daughter Rose and two-year-old Rex – and both of Stacey’s sons from previous relationships, Zach and Leighton, live with them too.
Joe also has a son called Harry who splits his time between Pickle Cottage and his mother’s home.
