Nick Jonas gets smashed by waves during wild boat ride on the Sydney Harbour ahead of first Aussie tour

Nick Jonas had a rough welcome to Australia on Thursday.

The 31-year-old got smashed by waves as he enjoyed a boat ride on the Sydney Harbour alongside his famous brothers and their friends.

Taking to Instagram, Nick posted a clip of himself getting soaked as the vessel sped  through the harbour.

The Camp Rock star’s clothes appeared drenched as he sat at the back of the boat with a beer in hand.

Nick uploaded a story admiring the views saying, ‘Sydney, long overdue, so excited for the show tomorrow, our first time ever playing here.’

Joe, Nick and Kevin were pictured greeting fans as they arrived at Sydney Airport on Wednesday morning ahead of their first concert at Qudos Bank Arena on Friday.

The American trio flew in from New Zealand where they played to a full house at Spark Arena in Auckland on Tuesday night.

The former Disney stars were greeted by a flock of fans, and all three brothers were happy to stop and pose for photographs and sign autographs on arrival.

The trio were slated to tour the country in 2020, but Covid ruined their plans.

‘To our Australian fans, thank you for being so patient, for the Jonas Brothers to come back around and to play a show there,’ they said on Instagram at the time.

‘We have two promises; we’re back, and we’re going to definitely tour Australia! And a promise is a promise right?!’

Joe, Nick and Kevin will kick off their tour on Friday, playing two shows at Qudos Bank Arena before playing a show in Brisbane on Tuesday.

They will then take the tour to Melbourne, where they will play back-to-back shows at Rod Laver Arena.
