A man and woman stabbed a 23-year-old mother in front of her young so during a broad-daylight home invasion robbery in Staten Island this week, authorities said Thursday.
The duo forced open the door of the home at Hygeia Place and Boyd Street in Stapleton Heights around 2:45 p.m. Monday, barged in and began punching the young mom who was inside with her 3-year-old son, police said.
One of the intruders stabbed the woman in the leg — before snatching up an unspecified amount of cash, a cellphone, a social security card, a wallet and an EBT card from inside the home, cops said.
The victim was taken to Richmond University Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.
Her toddler was unharmed.
Surveillance photos released by the NYPD late Wednesday show the wanted robbers walking on a snow-covered sidewalk.
The suspects had not been caught by Thursday.

Police described the man as being about 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds, with a dark complexion.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants and a black ski mask.
The woman was also described as having a dark complexion, with her hair in long braids.
She was last seen wearing a black sweater, black sweatpants and black and white sneakers.
The disturbing crime comes about a month after a caught-on-video heist in Staten Island’s Manor Heights neighborhood — where cops say four “amateurish” home invaders pistol-whipped a woman and attacked her 5-year-old daughter in a targeted attempt to steal money and jewelry.
No arrests have been made in that case.
