Spaniens premiärminister Pedro Sánchez överväger att avgå. Det säger han enligt flera medier efter att det inletts en korruptionsutredning mot premiärministerns fru.

Sánchez hävdar att anklagelserna är falska, men uppger att han ställer in sina offentliga åtaganden kommande dagar för att fundera på sin framtid. Ett besked väntas på måndag.

Enligt El Mundo utreds Sánchez fru Begoña Gómez för kopplingar till företag som tagit emot statliga medel. Hon har ingen officiell roll.

Bakom anklagelserna står antikorruptionsgruppen ”Clean hands”, enligt AFP.
