ALBAWABA – After receiving a massive backlash from PC players and the gaming community worldwide, Sony has finally responded to the hate and announced that they are scrapping the mandatory PSN login for Helldivers 2 on PC.
This comes amidst the game received a plethora of negative comments on Steam which made it go from “Very Positive” to “Mostly Negative” which was a shame to see since Helldivers 2 is one of the best coop experiences we had this decade.
But the backlash didn’t come as a surprise since Sony’s Playstation Network doesn’t have the best security which was concerning to many as everyone’s data is precious. Moreover, only 69 countries support the creation of a PSN account, which makes the other half of the world unable to make one without resorting to using other unnecessary means.
