Solar and wind ‘very popular’ among most Australians: Redbridge Group Director
Redbridge Group Director Kos Samaras says solar, wind and other renewable energy sources are “very popular” among most Australians.
Polling has been conducted on the Coalition’s nuclear policy by Redbridge Group.
Mr Samaras said the polling was conducted in the East Victorian federal seat of Gippsland.
“It’s fairly difficult because up against it are some pretty simple now well-executed policy ideas, and that is solar, wind, renewable energy,” Mr Samaras told Sky News Australia.
“Across all our surveys and other pollster surveys, these other forms of energy sources are very, very popular.
“Yes, there are some social license changes around connecting our grid to those energy sources, but, overwhelmingly, most Australians think it’s a good idea to be transitioning to actually be done much faster than it is right now.”
