Am Sonntag, 26. September 2021 stimmen wir über die «Ehe für alle» sowie über die «99-Prozent-Initiative» der Juso ab. Zudem gelangen noch einige Vorlagen in den Kantonen und viele auf Gemeinde-Ebene zur Abstimmung.

Wenn du deine Stimme noch nicht abgegeben hast und nicht persönlich an die Urne willst, solltest du dich ein wenig beeilen. Denn: Garantiert ist deine briefliche Stimmabgabe nur, wenn du deine Unterlagen bis spätestens Dienstag der Post übergibst. Achte dabei darauf, dass der Postbriefkasten noch an diesem Tag geleert wird. Das gilt es sonst noch zu beachten:

Wann erhalte ich meine Stimmunterlagen?

Die Stimmunterlagen werden mindestens drei Wochen vor dem Abstimmungssonntag zugestellt. Stimmberechtigt sind alle Schweizer:innen, die mindestens 18 Jahre alt sind, das Schweizer Bürgerrecht besitzen und nicht bevormundet werden.

Was soll ich machen, wenn ich meine Stimmunterlage nicht erhalten oder verloren habe?

Falls du deine Stimmunterlagen nicht erhalten hast oder sie nicht mehr findest, kannst du dich bei deiner Gemeinde melden.

Wie stimme ich brieflich ab?

Seit dem 1. Januar 2005 gilt in der Schweiz die generalisierte briefliche Stimmabgabe für alle Urnengänge. Seither werden die Abstimmungsunterlagen jedem Stimmberechtigten ohne Gesuch per Post zugestellt, um brieflich abzustimmen.

Wie stimme ich an der Urne ab?

Die Stimmabgabe an der Urne ist jeweils am Abstimmungssonntag möglich. Beachte, dass du nur Wahllokale der Gemeinde aufsuchen kannst, in der du stimmberechtigt bist. Falls du am Sonntag nicht an die Urne kannst (oder willst) und die briefliche Abstimmung schon verpasst hast, kannst du dein Abstimmungs-Kuvert persönlich bei der Gemeinde vorbeibringen.

Wie sieht es mit dem E-Voting aus?

Seit über 20 Jahren wird E-Voting in der Schweiz diskutiert. 2004 wagte man erste Versuche. Einige Kantone setzten versuchsweise ein E-Voting-System ein, etwa für Auslandschweizer:innen. Doch im Sommer 2019 zog der Bundesrat aufgrund von Mängeln die Notbremse. Seither herrscht Stillstand. Die Vernehmlassung zur Neuausrichtung des E-Voting-Versuchsbetriebs dauert bis noch bis am 18. August 2021.
