Well, Smriti Rani has filed her nomination from Amethi Lok Sabha seat just a short while ago. She is the sitting MP after she beat Rahul Gandhi from the Congress Pocket Borough of Amethi in the 2019 elections. And now Smriti Rani confident of securing another win. Because there is still so much suspense and ambiguity as to who is going to be fighting against the Congress not naming their candidate just as yet despite the fact that there was a CEC meet but still no names have been divulged. There has been talk that probably Rahul Gandhi would be contesting and then they were news that they were waiting for the Wayanad polls and perhaps after that they would name their candidate. But there was no news of that and Smriti Irani going and conducting that beautiful Rd. show which was received by a lot of people in Amethi and now she has filed her nomination papers as well. So she is reading and preparing herself for the battle up ahead, smiling at the camera persons looking very confident. She has been taking a lot of dig at Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party asking just where is their candidate and why has the Congress party not named anyone to fight from Amethi from the Congress party and that’s really been her counter to the absentee MP making a reference to Rahul Gandhi time and again Pallavi Ghosh joins us.
