Sister Wives season 18 release date 'confirmed' as Christine and Kody's son drops spoiler

TLC’s reality series following the “rarely seen world of a polygamist family” is reportedly set for a comeback sooner than fans expected, according to one of the show star’s children. Christine and Kody Brown’s son Paedon recently appeared to leak an upcoming season 18 release date.

Although TLC hasn’t officially confirmed a Sister Wives return, it’s more than likely the network will make an announcement closer to the date.

Season 17 saw the collapse of the Brown family when Christine declared she was leaving and moving to Utah for a new life.

Running from September last year, the last series wrapped in January 2023 and producers have been radio silent on any news of a new season.

But Christine and Kody’s only son has since broken that silence, seemingly spoiling the news and announcing when fans can expect a new series.

Taking to a TikTok Live video, Paedon was answering questions from fans when he dropped the bombshell season 18 announcement.

“Released September, there’s going to be an 18th season in September,” he said.

“Twelve years, eighteen seasons, it’s been phenomenal.

“The reason it’s still going is because of you guys.”

Speaking of his mum’s new relationship, which could feature in season 18, he added: “Yes, my mum, I have met my mum’s boyfriend, I met him a while ago.”

Paedon later revealed more about the TLC show’s timeline.

He explained: “Why is the show so far behind? Because filming takes a lot of time to shoot.

“I believe the show is about a year behind, roughly a year. It used to be six months behind, but time got slowly towards a year behind.”

The timeline means fans might get to see how Christine’s relationship unfolds with new man David Woolley.

Christine herself has previously landed in hot water with show bosses after leaking her own spoilers throughout the series.

Using her Instagram account, she shared updates with her new boyfriend, as well as key moments before they aired on the show.

Last year she also exposed the fact she was filming the upcoming season before it was even announced by TLC.

Bosses are thought to be “furious” with the social media spoilers, according to an insider.

“Christine is the rebellious one – she’s the only one who’s been revealing spoilers of what’s to come on the next season,” a source told The U.S. Sun.

“Production is furious. They know they can’t control all her posts and tweets, but they are furious she’s leaking stuff.”
