Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has set tongues wagging after she revealed she still has ‘plenty of sauce’ and that her go-to nighttime routine is lots of ‘Horlicks and sex’ with her beau Danny Taylor.
Now 61, Shirley said it’s still important for her to ‘feel sexy’ and she wants to have that ‘sensual appeal’ to her toyboy lover, Danny, 49.
Speaking to The Sun, the ballroom dancer said: ‘I’d want Horlicks AND sex. Lots of Horlicks and sex – or a bit of Horlicks and a lot of sex. My Danny just left this morning, we had a marvellous weekend together. There was lots of Horlicks. It was beautiful.’
‘It’s still important to me to feel sexy… everybody wants to have that sensual appeal and I don’t think you ever lose it,’ Shirley added.
As Strictly returns for its nineteenth series, Shirley is once again gearing up to slip into glitzy ballroom dresses, as she judges the show alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and new judge, Anton Du Beke, who is stepping in for Bruno Tonioli.
However, Shirley, who was struck down with a bad case of Covid earlier this year, revealed that viewers may notice some slight changes in her wardrobe this season, as she partakes in what she calls ‘sensual grooming.’
Shirley explained: ‘I’m going to wear some short dresses because I rather like my legs. I like a plunging neckline too, but I’m not one for having it all hanging out.’
The star, who recently suffered a cancer scare after finding a lump on her shoulder, said her goal is to stay ‘age-appropriate’ in the outfits she chooses to don for the hit show’s latest season
Shirley said she doesn’t want to look like ‘mutton dressed as lamb’ but is keen to stay fashionable just like Amanda Holden who looks incredible at 50.
