The Eagles are at the 2024 NFL combine, and all eyes were on GM Howie Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni as they took questions from the meid.
Roseman vaguely addressed Haason Reddick, talked about free agency, and had one surprising revelation when asked about cornerback James Bradberry.
Roseman clarified that Bradberry was in the Eagles’ plans for 2024, and he’d focus strictly on the outside cornerback role.

That plan could be for Bradberry to share snaps with Kelee Ringo, but cutting the former All-Pro cornerback or an outright trade would have ramifications.
According to Over the Cap, cutting Bradberry outright would cost the Eagles $10.9 million in cap space while adding another $15.2 million in dead cap space.
Philadelphia’s pass defense dropped to 31st in the league in 2023, and new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio could choose to roll with the young guys at cornerback.
According to Pro Football Focus, after being named a second-team All-Pro in 2022, Bradberry allowed 56 receptions for 689 yards and nine touchdowns.
Philadelphia saves no money by moving on, and they’ll proceed that way.
