ÇORUM BELEDİYESİ, TARİHİ KALENİN RESTORASYON ÇALIŞMALARINA DEVAM EDİYOR

Tarihi eserlerin ihyası ve restorasyonu konusunda önemli çalışmalar yürüten Çorum Belediyesi, tarihi kalenin restorasyon çalışmalarına devam ediyor. Çalışma kapsamında kalenin bedenlerinin restorasyonu, aydınlatma çalışması ve kale etrafının drenaj hattı yapılacak.

SELÇUKLU MİRASI BİN 100 YILLIK TARİHİ KALE TURİZME KAZANDIRILIYOR

Belediye Başkanı Dr. Halil İbrahim Aşgın’ın Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı ile yaptığı görüşmeler neticesinde hazırlanan protokol, geçtiğimiz temmuz ayında Çorum Valiliği ve Çorum Belediyesi arasında imzalanmıştı. Protokole göre restorasyon maliyetinin yarısı bakanlık, yarısı da Çorum Belediyesi tarafından karşılanacak. Şehrin en önemli tarihi yapıları arasında yer alan Çorum Kalesi’nin restorasyon ihalesini kazanan yüklenici firma çalışmalarına devam ediyor.

ÇALIŞMA KAPSAMINDA KALENİN BEDENLERİNİN RESTORASYONU, AYDINLATMA ÇALIŞMASI VE KALE ETRAFININ DRENAJ HATTI YAPILACAK

Belediye Başkanı Dr. Halil İbrahim Aşgın, şehrimizin kültürel varlıklarının korunması adına çok önemli bir adımı attıklarını belirterek, Selçuklu mirası olan 1100 yıllık Çorum Kalesi’nin şehrimizin en önemli tarihi eserlerinden birisi oldu olduğuna vurgu yaptı.

Tarihi kalenin Çorum’un kimliği ve geleceği açısından son derece önemli bir yapı olduğunu ifade eden Başkan Aşgın, “Şu anda beden yüzeylerinde derz temizliği yapılıyor, özgün derz içeriği ve görseline ulaşmak için numuneler hazırlandı. Danışman hoca ile 1 numune üzerinde mutabık kalındı, derzi temizlenen yerlerde taşlarda eksiklik yok ise derz imalatı yapılacak. Eksiklik olan yerlerde taş onarımı yapılacak.” dedi.

Başkan Aşgın, restorasyonunun yüzde 50’sinin Çorum Belediyesi, yüzde 50’sinin ise Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı hibesiyle karşılanacağını sözlerine ekledi.
