Instead, he forged his own path, eventually securing admission to the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US, marking a historic milestone as the first international blind student to receive full financial aid.

Bolla’s achievements did not stop there. Today, at the age of 32, he stands as the CEO of Bollant Industries, a company dedicated to manufacturing eco-friendly consumer packaging solutions. With the backing of influential figures such as Ratan Tata, Bolla’s vision has transcended boundaries, making a tangible impact on both the environment and society.

His remarkable journey is now set to be immortalised on the silver screen, with a biopic featuring actor Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. Scheduled for release on May 30, the film promises to inspire audiences with Bolla’s unwavering determination and indomitable spirit.

From being denied admission to prestigious institutions to leading a pioneering company, Srikanth Bolla’s story serves as a poignant reminder that with perseverance and belief in oneself, any obstacle can be overcome.
