Sebastian Vettel organizes competition for Saudi women

“We often hear the most terrible stories and many things can and should be better here,” said the four-time world champion.

“But I also think it’s important to emphasize the positive things. Women are only allowed to drive here for a few years. Seven or eight women took part in the competition, some had driver’s licenses, others did not. In this way I hope to give them some confidence. I was inspired by their stories. Things are definitely changing in this country. But for us as westerners it is not always easy to see everything in the few days we are here.”
